Submit Basic Information Choosing Adult Member

Submit Basic Information Choosing Adult Member

1. Enter all required fields

2.  The Adult's zip code will be used to determine his/her Council.  

3. If provided with an Event Code, enter, otherwise Select I do not have an Event Code and select select a value from "How you heard about Us"

4. Select Adult Member.

5. Enter your Troop or type and  select 'Not Applicable' if you do not belong to a Troop.

6. Click Next

Household Account Created

Household Account Created

A Household Account is created and The following Sections and Fields are Updated:

1. Account Information

    - Account Name (rC Custom Setting sets Name as First Name & Last Name)

    - Account Council Code (Custom trigger assigns Council Code related to zip code entered by Volunteer

    - Account Owner (Ownership is assigned to the Recruiting Specialist of the Council tied to the Zip code entered by the Volunteer)

    - Account Record Type ( Set to 'Household')

    - Active (Set to True)

    - Phone - rC Trigger updates this field to display the "Preferred Contact Phone"

2. Address Information

    - Zip Code

3. Preferred Contact Information

    - Preferred Contact

    - Preferred Contact Email

   - Preferred Contact Phone

 

Household Contact Created

Household Contact Created

A Household Contact is created and The following Sections and Fields are Updated:

1. Contact Information

    - Name

    - Account Name - Lookup to Household Account created for Volunteer

   - Contact Owner (Ownership is assigned to the Recruiting Specialist of the Council tied to the Zip code entered by the Volunteer)

    - Active (Set to 'True')

    - Role (Set to 'Adult')

    - Secondary Role (Set to Adult Member)

    - Email (Displays value stored in the 'Home Email" Contact field, rC Bios Trigger updates thie Preferred Email Field/Value  selected to display in the standard Salesforce.com "Phone" field)

    - Phone (Displays value stored in the 'Home Phone" Contact field, rC Bios Trigger updates thie Preferred Phone Field/Value  selected to display in the standard Salesforce.com "Phone" field)

2. Attributes

    - How did you hear about us? (Populated if the User did not enter a Promotion Code)

    - Preferred Contact (Set to 'True')

3. Address Information

    - Mailing Address: Mailing Zip/Postal Code

    - Get Started Complete (Set to 'True")

2. Phone Information

    -  Preferred Phone (Set to Home)

    - Home Phone

3. Email Information

    - Preferred Email (Set to Home Email)

    - Home Email

 

Campaign Member Record Created (if Event Code is Entered and Matches Campaign)

Campaign Member Record Created (if Event Code is Entered and Matches Campaign)

A Campaign Member record is created and The following Sections and Fields are Updated:

1. Campaign Member Detail

    - Campaign (Lookup to Campaign tied to Promotin Code entered by Volunteer)

    - Contact (Lookup to Adult's's Contact record)

    - Status (Updated to responded)

    - Member name (Name of Volunteer)

    - Responded (True)

    - Company (Account) (Set to Household Account)

    - Phone (Set to Contact Phone)

    - Email (Set to Contact Email)

 

Campaign Member Created Adult Added to Members Volunteer Job

If a Troop was Selected, A Campaign Member is created assigned to the Adult members Volunteer Project under the Troop Selected

1. Campaign Member Detail

    - Campaign

    - Contact

    - Membership

    - Membership Status

2. Assignment Information

    - Assignment Type ( Set to Blank/Null)

    - Active ( Set to True)

3. Detail Information

    - Company (Account) (Shows Adult Member's Household Account)

    - Phone (Contact's Phone)

    - Email (Contact's Email)
